Presta Marine is the proud sponsor of professional angler Steve Hendricks. Steve started fishing as a child. His parents and grandparents had him on the water as soon as he could hold a fishing pole. Steve participates in several walleye and bass circuits today, including the Master's Walleye circuit, the Lake Erie Walleye Trail, the X Series Bass circuit, and the Do Bass circuit. In 2022, Steve and his co-angler Brian Ulmer captured the 2022 Team of the Year for the Big Water Walleye Championship, consistently placing in the top 10 tournament after tournament. Steve has also placed 3rd in the Lake Erie National Walleye Tour and 2nd in the Lake Erie Master's Walleye circuit. Steve's favorite thing about fishing is being on the water, it's a peacefulness that can't be described to those that have never experienced it, but he also has a competitive side. Steve loves the tournament competition and working with his co-angler to determine what technique will bring in the largest catch. At the end of the tournament, he enjoys coming off the water with his catch and experiencing camaraderie with fellow anglers and tournament sponsors.

Anyone with ties to Northeastern Ohio knows about the long-standing draw of Lake Erie's walleye fishing. As one of the world's greatest inland sport fisheries, Lake Erie welcomes millions of anglers every season. As a member of the Northeastern Ohio Community, Presta Marine is proud to sponsor the Big Water Walleye Championship, including the Lake Erie Walleye Trail and the Lake Erie Fall Brawl.

The Big Water Walleye Championships is a club for anglers that fish in the Big Water of Lake Erie and its tributaries. Membership and tournament participation is open to anyone interested in fishing, no matter their location or skill level.

The Lake Erie Walleye Trail is Ohio's largest, longest-standing, and fastest-growing finishing tournament series. Annually, the Lake Erie Walleye Trail gathers anglers from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. The tournament runs from April – September and hosts tournaments across the Lake Erie region with stops in Huron, Lorain, and Geneva, to name a few.

The Lake Erie Fall Brawl, held for four weeks every fall, brings in over 10,000 anglers from across the country to fish Lake Erie in hopes of taking home more than $500,000 in cash and prizes. Kicking off in early October and concluding in mid-November, anglers showcase their skills in reeling in the largest fish to take home the top prize.
